Tour Plan

Day 1 :  Fly to India, Delhi.

You arrive in Delhi by International flight.

Experience the welcome meet and assist services by our representatives and later transfer to Hotel for check in. Relax in the Evening.

Day 2 :  Delhi

Post breakfast, we take a guided tour of Old Delhi, the 17th century walled city of Shah Jahanabad, visiting the great Jama Masjid, the principal mosque of Old Delhi. Built in the year 1656 AD by the Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan, it is the largest and the best known mosque in India. Later we walk down or take a rickshaw ride through Chandni Chowk, the old marketplace of Shah Jahanabad now a picturesque bazaar to reach Red Fort(outside View), built in the year 1648 by Shah Jehan.

In New Delhi, we visit Raj Ghat, memorial to the Father of the Nation, Mahatma Gandhi. It is a simple black marble platform that marks the spot of his cremation on 31 January 1948. Further we drive past India Gate, memorial built in the year 1931 to commemorate the Indian soldiers who died in the World War I & the Afghan Wars. The names of the soldiers who died in these wars are inscribed on the walls. We visit the President’s House, built in the year 1931. Until 1950 it was known as Viceroy’s House and served as the residence of the Governor-General of British India. We will also visit Humayun’s Tomb, memorial of Mughal Emperor Humayun, built in the year 1562. The complex is a World Heritage Site & the first example of this type of Mughal architecture in India. Also visit Qutub Minar, built in 1206 by Qutub-ud-din Aibek. It is the tallest (72m) brick minaret in the world, an important example of Indo-Islamic Architecture. Qutub Minar & its monuments are listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

Day 3 : Delhi – Jhansi (Shatabdi Express: 0600 – 1050 ) Orccha – Khajuraho (160 km/ 3.5 hrs)
Transfer to Delhi Railway Station with a packed breakfast.

Board your Superfast train Jhansi , a historcial city. On arrival at the Jhansi Railway Station our representative would meet & assist you and later we leave for Orchha, located at a distance of 16 km from Jhansi. Orchha has a medieval town atmosphere attached to it. The Betwa River quietly flows by the town. It has palaces & temples built by its Bundela rulers appear to be suspended in time. Visits to Orchha Fort, Jahangir Mahal, Raj Mahal & Ram Raja temple. Later continue to Khajuraho, on arrival check into hotel.

Day 4 : Khajuraho -Jhansi  (160 km/3.5 hrs) &  Jhansi – Agra ( Express train/1830-2110)

Early breakfast in Hotel, later we will Khajuraho temples, built between 950 & 1050 AD by the mighty warrior kings of the Chandela dynasty, in a truly inspired burst of creativity. Temples are famous for the magnificent carvings depicting numerous sexual postures of the famous “Kamasutra”, ancient Indian work on sex. Only 22 temples survive of the 85 originally built. In fact, worship is still done today in the Matangeshwara temple, continuing an unbroken 1000 year tradition. Later we drive for Jhansi railway station to board the train for Agra. Upon arrival assistance & transfer to hotel

Day 5 : Agra – Mathura – Vrindavan – Agra (220 km- 5 hrs)

Post Breakfas, we will depart for excursion to another holy town and visit Mathura (Shri Krishna Janmabhumi Temple) & Vrindavan ( ISKCON Temple) (Temples are close between 1200 – 1600 hrs.), related with the birth & childhood of Lord Krishna. Next we will visit Sikandra (Tomb of Emperor Akbar) Later we drive to Agra,erstwhile capital of great Mughals & known for Taj Mahal. It has always fascinated Indians & foreigners alike. Most of Agra is on West bank of river Yamuna, with the Agra Fort & Taj Mahal at its nucleus. Taj Mahal is quite simply one of mankind’s most remarkable creations. Later Retrun back to hotel and rest.

Day 6: Agra Tour

After early breakfast, we leave for sighseeing at 0800 hrs to visit the incredible architectural excellence of Taj Mahal (Closed on Friday), built by Emperor Shah Jahan in memory of his beloved wife Mumtaz Mahal. Next we visit Agra Fort, built principally as a military establishment by Akbar in 1565. The red sandstone Agra Fort was partially converted into a palace during Shah Jahan’s time. This massive Fort is 2.5 km long & is considered as the predecessor of the Delhi Red Fort.

Later in the afternoon we visit Itmad-ud-Daulah Tomb, built by Noor Jahan, wife of Mughal Emperor Jahangir, in memory of her father Mirza Ghiyas Beg. Before Taj Mahal was built, its rough design was already standing in the form of Itmad ud Daulah’s Tomb. Next we visit Sikandara, Akbar’s tomb.

Day 7:   Agra – Fatehpur Sikri – Jaipur (260 km/ 5 hrs)

Post breakfast we leave for Jaipur, En route visit to Fatehpur Sikri, a masterpiece in sandstone with stunning elegance of its palaces & courts. Further we proceed to Jaipur the flamboyant capital of Rajasthan. Upon arrival assistance & check-in hotel.

Day 8 : Jaipur  – Pink City

Post breakfast, we drive 11 km to Amber, the capital of the gallant Rajputs from 1037 to 1728 AD. We ride on elephant back & reach Fort  located high on a hill, it is the principal tourist attraction in Jaipur. Amer Fort is known for its artistic style elements, Sheesh Maahal ( inside the fort),  Visit the City Palace, a perfect blend of Rajasthani & Mughal architecture. The centre of the palace is a seven-storied building called Chandra Palace, with fine views over the gardens & the city. Further we visit Jantar Mantar (Solar Observatory), an astronomical treasure house, with solar devices that give accurate predictions till date. We also visit Hawa Mahal (Palace of Winds), a five-storied structure of pink sandstone. It was built in the year 1799 so that veiled royal women could peer down the busy street market unseen by the world through its 593 stone Jharokas (mini windows), and at the end of the Jaipur sightseeing we will visit to Birla Temple.
Evening back to Hotel.

Day 9  Jaipur – Samode – Delhi ( 260 km / 5 hrs )

Breakfast at Hotel, Next we drive to Samode village,which is eroute Jaipur- Delhi highway. Samode is famous for its palace, which was inherited by the aristocratic Raval family. The palace is more than 400 years old, but it has gone through several restorations. On the ground floor there is a hall called Sultan Mahal – a hall with marble columns, tiles and carved furniture brought once from Nepal. Let’s walk through the halls, look at the Mirror and Durbar Hall – getting into a past era, into a time loop. Above the palace, on the hill, is the Fort of Samod. Time did not spare him much, but the surrounding panorama, opening from the walls of the fortress, will give odds to many other historical places. Then we will take camel carts and drive through the traditional village of Rajasthan. The journey will end in the Samoda Bagh Garden, 3 km from the palace. A lot of effort and money was spent on the restoration of this garden, Later continue drive to National capital Delhi. Upon arrival check into hotel.

Day 10:  Depart Delhi

Tour Ends, We provide a punctual transfer to the Airport and return home with lot of sweet memories.
